Toni's Story...
Toni is a 1.5 year old Boxer/Pointer x. She is very active and affectionate; very eager to please! She loves to play with her toys and other dogs. She doesn’t enjoy being alone as we’ve deduced she was abandoned earlier in her life. She is very intelligent! Toni would thrive most in an environment that is calm and stable. We recommend that Toni go into a home with older children who can properly engage with high energy dogs. Toni is nervous at first but is becoming more and more open to meeting new people as we build her confidence. This girl has many talents. One of which is climbing 6’ chain link fences but she only does it to get back to where her people are. Crate trained, house trained and leash trained. Toni just wants to have a family to love and hang out with (who might even let her be the center of attention!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toni, a Corrales Boxer/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pointer for sale in Corrales, or seeking a Boxer/Pointer dog from a breeder in Corrales.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corrales already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corrales breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pointer breeders who help with Boxer/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corrales paves the way for another one to be saved.
