My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper!

Young adult mixed male.
Super sweet and super soft! Smiley guy! Social! Loves to meet new people. Naturally playful, curious and trusting canine. LOVES toys! Tennis balls, stuffed toys, and tug ropes! They are all fun! Doesn't even need someone to play with him! Can happily find joy playing by himself! Does enjoy company though. Walks very well on the leash. Solid basic manners. Knows how to sit. Dog friendly. Inquisitive about cats but a good boy. Good with kids. Fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with him. On a mission to live life to the fullest!. An all-around good ole boy.

Adoption fee is $25 covers (if not done already) vaccinations, spay/neuter, and flea/tick/de-worming treatments.

Adoption fees have now been permanently lowered to $25 for dogs that have been available for adoption for an extended period of time, have special needs or may have behavioral issues. These dogs are not worth any less in our eyes - but we do understand that certain dogs require additional attention or a very specific home which can be hard to find. Specific details can be found in the dogs canine-ality bio on their wants and needs. Our main goal is to make sure the dog(s) finds a loving home and that we can continue to save more in need. It is just another step to save millions more lives each year and take dogs and cats off of euthanasia tables and put them into the loving arm of families that will adore them.

And we will still check you out. Adopters must still fill out our adoption application, and still have to go through our personal and vet reference checks and possibly a home check depending on the dog. Adopters will be required to come to WOOFTOWN to meet their new pet and spend some time with us and the pet interacting together. This will allow us to not only introduce you and the new pet the right way but also to answer any questions or demonstrate training techniques that will assist you with caring for your new pet.

We will still do our due diligence and you may still get turned away if you aren’t a well suited match for a specific pet but we are trying to find the best homes that will fit their needs. So spread the word. Help us reach our goals, help us find homes for all the animals at WOOFTOWN.
