My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: May 2007

Leo (buff) and Athena (brown tabby) were rescued from a shed in Camp Hill as kittens. They were brought into foster care and eventually adopted together. Unfortunately both cats are now in a situation in which they need to find new homes.

Leo and Athena are VERY well behaved, 100% indoor cats. Athena is the social butterfly of the duo. She likes to be around people and you can do just about anything you want to her. Leo is also very friendly but is also content on his own. They love playing with the laser pointer. Athena likes to chase it without repercussion while Leo likes to get sneaky with it. If you get a stick with a string attached to a toy, you might be able to see Leo grab it and try to run away with it. He has been doing that since he was a kitten. Athena will also play fetch. Leo and Athena usually find a place to sleep together and enjoy hanging out on cat trees or near a window to watch the outside world.

Leo and Athena faithfully use the litter box and are healthy, adult kitties. They do not have to be adopted together but in an ideal situation, they’d like to find the same home since they have been together their whole lives and keep each other company.

This kitty has had his initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).

Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).

If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent!
