Tasha's Story...
Well hello! I'm Tasha, a beautiful Akita/Cattle Dog mix lady born in 2014. I currently weigh about 55 lbs.

I came all the way from New Mexico in search of my forever home! I was picked up as a stray down there, so not much is known about my past. I can be shy and slow to warm up to new people. You see I have not had much stability in life so I do feel fearful in certain situations. All I need is patience, love, and maybe some tasty treats to trust you. Once we have connected my personality will shine! I am so sweet, affectionate, and friendly! I just adore the people I know and will greet you with so much excitement!

I will thrive in a home that can help me build my confidence and socialize me. I seem to liven up around other dogs and would be happy to meet potential doggie siblings. I will need daily physical activity and I hope my new family will work with me on basic obedience and training. A calmer home environment will suit me best!

Will you take a chance on me? I am currently in a foster home, call MaxFund at 303-595-4917 to learn more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tasha, a Denver Australian Cattle Dog/Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Akita for sale in Denver, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Akita dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Akita breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
