Chewy's Story...
Hi, I'm Chewbaka and I am a big loyal and devoted buddy! I am still a pup at approx a year old and approx 75lbs. Of course I love to wrestle with other dogs and chase my squeaky toys! I am a loveable guy who could use some training and consistency to be my best! I aim to please and am very treat motivated! I was picked up as a stray and CARE is trying to find me a home as full of love and enthusiasm as I am. I will do best with obedience training and an active family as I love the outdoors, hiking and swimming. Are you ready for a Chewy of your very own!!? My adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewy, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
