Hank's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hank is a perky little beagle buddy. He is good in the house and likes other dogs and all people. He ignores cats. He is a little reserved at first. He likes to get petted and loves a treat but isn't the type to insist on crawling in your lap to watch TV. He is content to sleep at your feet. Hank will go for a run if off leash and not watched but he will return when called and listens well. He loves to go for walks in the woods and will happily follow along with a few side trips.  He is a very sweet low maintanince boy that would make a good addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Rayville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Rayville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Rayville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rayville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rayville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rayville paves the way for another one to be saved.
