CeeJay is Adopted
CeeJay is currently being fostered in Hermitage PA, and his adoption fee/donation is $300
CeeJay is a beautiful 3 yr old male cocker Spaniel.
He was surrendered to our rescue when his owners were having issues with him resource guarding.
CeeJay has only been with us for one week, and so far the only issue we have seen from him is seperation anxiety.
He has gotten along quite well with all of the dogs in his foster home, and has been very well behaved.
He loves attention, thrives on positive reinforcement, and appears very eager to please.
He also was neutered just last week.
We have seen resource guarding in Cockers before, and feel confident this boy is an excellent candidate for behavioral modification through training.
We are looking for an adult only home, no children please, due to ceejays history.
His adoptive owners will need to be experienced with handling and training a dog that may exhibit behaviors.
Now that he is neutered, it is very possible that his lower testosterone levels will make s difference in his behavior, we have seen nothing but sweetness and good manners from him so far.
He will more than likely be better in a home with other dogs that will teach him in a "pack" enviornment.
CeeJay is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
