My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When SCD found this pup sitting in a shelter in GA we just couldn't believe it! Meet Cassius a male Carolina Dog that has a beautiful ginger and buff coat and is just under a year old.
This wonderful boy is in foster in GA, he weighs 33 lbs. (he'll be growing just a bit more), he's been neutered and all of his vaccinations are current. His foster family has young children and he's so sweet and gentle with them....he also has a foster sister pup that he's won over and loves to play with!

Cassius has beautiful head 'wrinkles' which is classic with Carolina Dogs, his tail curls perfectly, and he plays well with his humans and doggy foster sister. He's house broken, non-destructive in the house, and enjoys laying by the Christmas tree! Car rides are a joy for him - he rides like a champ and is the best 'shotgun rider' you'll ever find.

This amazing little boy is looking for his forever home....we'd like to see him go with a family that will take him into training classes so he can reach his full potential. Training classes are also a fabulous way to bond with the new member of your pack - we encourage them for all of our adopters!

Cassius would love to hear from some interested families so he can pick his 'Home Sweet Home" and become part of someone's family!
