**Double is currently being fostered in Houston. He is available for out-of-state adoption to the perfect forever family. Double's adoption fee is $500 USD**
We would love to introduce everyone to the fantastically handsome Double! We rescued Double over a year ago from a high kill shelter south of Houston where he was picked up as a stray. We saw his photo at the shelter and knew we must save him! Double was adopted early in 2015, but his adopter has recently had a change in their situation and we felt it best to help Double find a new family.
Double is incredibly smart and very well socialized. He is a frequent visitor of the local dog parks as well as a regular at doggy day care. Everyone who meets Double loves him. He knows how to sit, down, stay and walks very nicely on his leash. Double is an active dog with a mid-high level of energy.
Double's ideal family will be able to give him plenty of exercise and be excited to have him as their best friend - Double is a very loyal dog and will bond tightly to his new family. Double would make an amazing running/hiking buddy and he loves to swim and play in the water.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application on our website at www.reggiesfriends.org (hover over the adoptables tab and the application link will appear). Following the application, we will set up a video chat so potential adopters can meet Double.
Double would be flown into YVR via United Pet Safe. His adoption fee of $500 covers his flight, kennel, bed, and of course, he is fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped).
