Gracie is an adult female Beagle/Rat Terrier mix who came to us when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. House trained, crate trained, well mannered, she is very tolerant of the other dogs in her foster home but clearly would be happier as an only dog. She loves walks, does not love other dogs pushing her around on walks, enjoys meeting new people and prancing happily alongside you. Gracie is happiest walking in wooded areas and sniffing around and rooting through sticks, stones, and pond areas, she loves hiking. She is equally happy curled up alongside you in the house. Gracie does well with cats and is a quieter dog by nature. She does not enjoy dog parks or loud chaotic situations, she prefers stability and familiar to her, paired with walks outside.
