Belle's Story...
Belle is a GORGEOUS pointer mix lady, about 4 years old, that had a rough start at life. She was very emaciated & clearly over-bred when she was first rescued from Marcopa County. She was going to be put down for fear and we just couldn't allow that to happen!
Belle is a loyal & protective dog that will bond to her people. She is more of a dominant female but gets along with most dogs big & small. Belle has no experience with cats. We suggest older kids as she can be nervous at first when meeting new people. Once she knows you, you better be ready for the most gentle & loyal companion to keep you warm at night :)

Belle has also been through a board & train so she knows her place command, is kennel trained, waits for her food, walks great on a leash, heals & comes on command. Beauty & brains! What more could you want in a dog?!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Phoenix Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
