Nicky is a gentle, well-behaved, good temperament boy. He is good with people, safe with children, and loves all dogs big and small. Nicky is doing well in his foster home and patiently waiting for his own loving home. He rides well in the car and loves his daily walk. He started basic obedience training and is learning everything at a good pace. He knows the commands sit, down, and place. He is a lovely boy and will make a great family dog!
Nicky was rescued by a kind lady. The lady found him abandoned in front of a busy street where he was sadly waiting for his owners to return. She walked around a few blocks with him and people around says he was dropped off and had been waiting for a few weeks. The kind lady didn’t have the heart to leave him to starve on the street. She brought her home and posted his story on Facebook hoping to find him a new home. Weeks went by and Nicky was still left without a home. The lady works very long hours and was unable to care of Nicky, she sent him to a relative home and was left tied on a chain in the mountain.
She feels very sad and didn’t know how to help Nicky. Through the vet’s referral, she found Nicky’s now foster mom. Nicky’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer and found over hundreds of dogs loving homes. Her home is full of rescued dogs but she knew it was urgent to bring Nicky home. Nicky is doing very well in her home sharing everything with her rescued dogs. He is quiet, sweet, and a sweet boy!
Nicky is a healthy boy and had his vaccinations, rabies shot, neutered, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests. All he needs is for a family to open their hearts to him and give him a new life!
