Spencer's Story...

This dog's fosterhome is located in: ****Fort Worth, Texas****This adorable little guy is named Spencer!  Spencer is about a year old, and just as cute as they come.  He is a type B rat terrier with shorter legs, and he weighs 12 pounds.  Spencer is an active puppy who loves to play, play, play, but then he’s ready for a cuddle and kiss.  Spencer is very willing to please, and is okay with dog-savvy cats.  He loves to play tug-of-war with his 30-pound foster brother, and fully expects to win!  He’s doing well with his housetraining, and is not a problem barker.  He usually only barks when someone comes to the door, to let you know.  Spencer would love a home where he could play fetch with a tennis ball (his favorite game!) and a home with kids would be a plus!  Would the addition of a cute little guy like Spencer to your family make your Christmas merry? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spencer, a Arkadelphia Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Arkadelphia, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Arkadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arkadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arkadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arkadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
