ADOPTED! Skeeter's Story...
This dog's fosterhome is located in: ****Berlin, New Jersey**** Skeeter has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes! Skeeter is a happy, energetic, spirited little guy who doesn’t seem to have any fears. He’s willing to engage anyone in play – from dogs his size to a 160 lb Great Dane. He loves toys of all kinds but especially loves chasing tennis balls – he’s an excellent catcher! He’s a big kisser, very affectionate and loves cuddling under blankets with you while watching TV or napping. He is crate-trained and house-trained, comes when you call his name and has recently learned to walk on a leash but he’s still easily distracted by squirrels. He will chase a cat if it runs, but if they stand their ground, he backs off. He’s very protective of his food so he’ll growl if other dogs look at him while he’s eating. Skeeter likes kids but he’s still a little nippy when grabbing toys or treats (still a little puppy behavior left in him). Skeeter is 18 months and weighs 20 pounds. He’d love to have a home for the holidays — maybe it’s yours? Make sure you see more pictures of Skeeter!
