Theodore's Story...
Oh hi there, I'm Theodore. I was rescued along with my brothers, Alvin and Simon. Our foster mom says we're just like the Chipmunks, so we figured we should learn to sing one of their songs. ♪♪ Christmas, Christmas time is near. Time for toys and time for cheer. ♪♪

Oh, I guess you'd probably rather get to know me than hear me sing. Well, in case you haven't already noticed, I'm the adorable one. My brother Alvin is the adventurer. I'm a bit more cautious. There's a great big world out there. I do love to play though. I'm pretty laid back, so any kind of toys will do. When playtime is over, it's my favorite time of the day, snuggle time! Pets and head scratches are the best!

This year is my very first Christmas, and I'd just love to spend it with my very own forever family. ♪♪ I can hardly stand to wait. Please Christmas don't be late. ♪♪

If you'd like to meet me, please email to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Theodore!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theodore, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
