Reyka's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reyka's Story...
Reyka is about 3 years old (born approx 9.12.12), will be spayed, is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, on flea/heartworm prevention, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.

Reyka was found running stray in Michigan. She was emaciated, fly strike ears, had every intestinal parasite you can think of, urinary tract infection, mammary tumors, and is heartworm positive.

This amazing girl loves all people (even children), is great with dogs of all sizes, and has even been ok with cats. She would love a home with a male dog to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reyka, a Virginia Beach Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
