Hi Everyone!! My name is Sophie and I'm the super cute and loveable 8 month old (D.O.B.4/12/2015) Dachshund / Italian Greyhound on your screen. Talk about loveable,.. when I see you I just about turn inside out and wag my whole body along with my tail :-) I get along with all,.. this includes dogs/pups people/kids cats/kittens,... and it seems that everyone gets along with me. I ended up at Skyllers because my former owners tried to help me from a bad situation however they already had 2 dogs and 4 kids so giving me the time and training that I deserved was pretty much impossible. Now that I have come to Skyllers I have began a schedule and have been introduced to a number of dogs/cats and have been doing great with all. I am currently eating a holistic puppy food to keep me in good health. I enjoy playing with my chew toys and tug ropes! Being out in the fenced yard is soooOooo much FUN,.. I get to explore and see what kind of toys I can find out there! I am doing pretty good on leash and do well when going for car rides. I would prefer a home that will give a lot of attention and spend a great deal of time with me because I am a little shook from being bounced around from home to home. I have been to the vet and am current on my vaccines including Rabies, DHPP, Lyme and Bordatella. I have been heartworm tested negative and have been on heartworm preventative "Heartgaurd" ever since, and for safety I have been microchipped. All I need now is to be spayed and we already have an appointment to have this done. I am having a lot of fun here at Skyllers but what I truly need is my very own FURever home!!! Maybe this year I will get to spend my first holidays with my FURever family??? I sure do hope so.
