Willie's Story...
Willie is an alpha male. He is a panther in his mind and is a bit of a loner. Willie is new to us and we don't know a lot about him yet but at this point we think he would do best in a single cat household. Time may change him but he'll need just a little time to know he is safe. If you would like to meet this beautiful cat, come visit him at the shelter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willie, a Salem Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Salem, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
