My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monty is a cute 23 lb. terrier who we believe is 2-3 years old. While only a guess, we’ve looked at lots of terrier types online and he could possibly be a cross between a Scottie and a Cesky terrier - the Cesky pitching in the long body and the drop ears; both breeds have short legs.

After a tough bout of upper respiratory infection, his good health has returned. Monty is a very sweet and well-behaved fellow. He loves to have his tummy rubbed and enjoys being brushed. He has a backyard to run around in, but also enjoys his twice daily walks and is happy to meet other dogs and then be on his way. While not yet fully potty-trained, he is affectionate and obedient. He doesn’t beg or chew random stuff, but picks up his antler or stiff chew toy for a daily “gnaw”. Monty sleeps through the night without complaint in his own room, and he seldom barks.

Monty would make a great family pet – he is cheerful and will provide a loving presence in your home. His adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exam, heartworm test (neg.), distemper and rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea control, heartworm prevention, microchip and neuter.
