George's Story...
I'm a handsome boy indeed. I'm George. I'm named after a kitty who lived at FOHA for a while before finding his forever home - and we could be twins! That George also had a white face and black markings on his face that looked like an upside-down triangle. I'm used to living with cats, so I'll fit in here just find at the FOHA communal cattery until I find a home of my own. I also love people, and I love to be pet. I may even let you pick me up and carry me around like a baby. I’m a sweet and loving boy waiting for his forever home. If you'd like to meet me, please come on out to FOHA. I'd love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
