My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I 'm looking for a companion to love - someone who I can trust, who will allow me ....to be me! I came to AWLMC from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. I was found as a stray, wondering the streets. As you can imagine, I was really scared and uncertain when I first arrived and it took awhile for the intake team to really 'see' my true colors when they visited. I am a brown tabby girl with stunning green eyes and a short tail. Here's who I am....I like to be with my people and will follow you from room to room. I will join you while you watch tv and will sit on your lap for a face and head rub. I will purr very loudly the whole time, letting you know how much I love that. I also enjoy being brushed and playing with my toy mice. But because I am a little ....shy, right now, I do not like to be picked up or held. It makes me scared. Instead I would rather come to you and sit in your lap. My new person will understand this about me, and give me the time and space I need. I am also a little too curious about the outside world, so I need you to watch me carefully to make sure I don't run out the door. As you can see, I am looking for someone to really take care of me, and let me love you in return. Are you looking for a quiet, friendly cat to join your family? If so I might be the one for you. I was born in 2012.
