My story

Gryphon is a gorgeous black tri rough coat purebred Border Collie. He is a neutered male and his birthdate is March 28, 2014.

Gryph loves to work for you and would like to have a job. He is a medium energy dog who would love to be your hiking or jogging partner.
He has done obedience and agility training. Gryph will need to be an only dog or live with female dog(s) only. Gryph has some initial reserve when meeting new people and can be intimidated by groups of people. Gryph prefers women and will not be adopted to a home with children. He has a lot of potential, but will need a committed training regimen and slow exposure with a confident, consistent handler to bring out the very best he has to offer. He is talented at his agility training and very willing to please, however can be reactive to noises and while crated if another male dog is in close proximity. The hub-bub of a busy area such as an agility event can be very stressful for him.

If you are experienced with herding breeds and are looking for a wonderful dog to bring to his full potential, please consider Gryphon. He is crate trained, house trained, rides well in the car, gets along with female puppies and adult dogs and loves to please. Gryphon may chase a cat, but has not offered to harm his foster home's cat. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
