This is Mandy! She's a large spayed female mix, about 80 lbs. She's a little careful at first, but warms pretty quickly. She originally came to us as a stray, and was adopted by a family with several children. Apparently the children have developed allergies, so Mandy had to come back to us. We're hoping this big beauty doesn't have to wait long for a real forever home.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
