My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My official name is Mugsy, but my friends have given me the nickname, Scarface. I'm guessing it's due to the scar I currently have above my right eyebrow. My human companions don't know exactly what happened to me while I was out on the streets or how I got it, but it's possible that I got tangled up in a fence or had a disagreement with another dog. Unfortunately, until I learn how to speak a language other than dog, I suppose it will remain a mystery.

Want to know some more about me? I'm assuming you said yes. Well, I am roughly 5 years old. Since I am a rescue it's hard to say exactly, but my friends have taken their best guess. I am a small, neutered male Terrier mix weighing in at about 14 pounds.

I'm sweet, loving, and gentle. I really enjoy the company of all my new friends and I get very excited when they come to take me out for walks. Speaking of walks, you'll be happy to hear that I'm pretty good on a leash.

I love everybody I meet - dogs and humans alike. I've been known to love the occasional belly rub, too!

I'm a little ragged looking right now, but that wound on my face is healing nicely and the bald spot on my rump from an untreated flea allergy is sprouting more and more hair everyday. Pretty soon I am going to be a handsome, mature pup with looks to match my winning personality!
