Looking for a loyal, best friend? Look no more! Look into my eyes and you will see into my soul. I like to go on walks and am learning to walk with manners right at my foster mom's side. I get a little excited at first but, calm down quickly and can walk for miles! I am not in a foster home with other dogs; however, I have met several other dogs on walks and I get along just fine. My foster family has two children ages six and eight and I am playful but gentle with them. I love it when they scratch behind my ears and play with me. I will sit quietly and wait for you to pet me. I also sit for meals and treats. If you are on the floor, I will snuggle up next to you for a belly rub. Have you heard of dogs that wander around the house and get into trouble? That is NOT me! I stay close to my people and love attention. I don't have a lot of energy; I like to take walks but then like to lay around and chew on my bones. I may like an occasional hike but, I am not the type of dog that must exercise a lot each day.
Kipling is a male/n Beagle mix born ~December 2013. He weighs 45 pounds. He is crate trained and housebroken.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
