found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
As the news was breaking of the horrific and senseless killing of Cecil the lion at Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, Cecil the kitten, along with 10 other kittens and the two mama cats that gave birth to them, were being pulled into rescue from an animal shelter in New Jersey. They had been brought to the shelter, together and unwanted. With the threat of euthanasia looming over their little heads, OMC! Rescue quickly stepped in to save them. Today they are safe and being cared for by their loving foster families as they anxiously await their forever homes.
Cecil is a 5-month old DSH baby boy with handsome tabby markings and big round eyes. His mama is a Maine Coon mix, though apparently Cecil must take after a short-haired papa. Cecil is a talkative, affectionate young man and definitely a leader in his kitten “pride”. Not taking that leadership thing too seriously, though, Cecil is a bona fide bundle of fun. He loves to play with his feline foster brother, rough-housing and tearing around the house like a speed demon. He has a great time playing with his human foster family, too. Once he has burned up all that kitten energy, he likes to find his human to cuddle up with for a nice nap. Sometimes, though, he is just too tired and will go straight from playing to passed out on the spot!
Cecil is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and he has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. He is also litter box trained.
Cecil is located in Absecon, NJ. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application on our web site: http://www.omcrescue.org/form/adoption_application.php . You may also e-mail us at email@example.com if you have any questions or would like to learn more about Cecil.
