This little guy is Muppet. He is approx. 3 to 4 years old and is a beagle mix. He is being fostered in the Boston area and is looking for a loving home. Muppet has a high prey drive so no cats or other little animals in his new home. He's a jumpy, wiggly, energetic boy with lots of love to give. He loves nothing more than looking for squirrels and will literally sits on the back of the couch looking out the window searching for them! He loves his toys and bully sticks. Muppet loves going for walks but he does pull on the leash but his foster is working on curbing this habit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muppet, a Boston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Boston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
