My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foster
 verb
 1. to encourage or promote the development of something, typically something regarded as good.
Well, isn’t that fitting. I sure could use some encouragement. A patient and gentle family to help develop my social skills and boost my confidence. A place that will foster an environment of love and kindness. One with other dogs to play with or cats to cuddle with, maybe even some children to cherish me—but only if they are very respectful and courteous. I may be just a babe still, but life has already been pretty rough on me, so it takes me a little time to trust. I will need plenty of guidance and training, and a whole lot of patience…all these things will help boost my self-esteem and help me slide right into adulthood with ease. I am doing really well with my crate training, which is a wonderful start in developing good house manners and housebreaking. Because I must of course be a house dog, hanging in the backyard all day just won’t work for—I want to be a real part of the family, curled up on the couch or sleeping under the covers. Besides, I am quite the athlete when I’m feeling up to it, and can scale a 6-foot fence in 3 seconds flat! I’ve got all the potential you could ever ask for, I just need someone like you to help Foster an environment of love.
10 months old-46lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.
