SKYE's Story...
At only about 11 months old, Skye has had a rough start. Her owners kept her outside in a crate. There was an inch of water in it from rain. She was craving attention. The neighbor rescued her. Skye gave her kisses in the car all the way to the vet's office. She is so sweet, affectionate, loves to play (of course - she is a puppy), and gentle. Listens well. Knows how to sit and lie down. Housebroken. She is chocolate and white, only 45lbs (medium size dog) and needs a loving, forever home. She seems to like learning and picks up quickly. She has not been destructive. Why Adoption is a Great Option

SKYE, a Homestead Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Homestead, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
