Pandora (Spayed)'s Story...
"Pandora" is a cute 4-month old female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on December 24, 2015 after she was found in the Marietta, Ohio area and brought to the safety of our shelter. This little lady has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling face with golden eyes and a black button nose. "Pandora" resembles a tiny panther cub when you see her in person :) She was a frightened little girl when she first came to our shelter, and she loved to be wrapped up in a soft fleece blanket and held in your arms for security. "Pandora" had a bit of a cat-i-tude, but we realized that this was her only way of showing that she was a tiny scared girl in an unfamiliar place :( "Pandora" was given vaccinations and wormer on December 24, 2015. She was spayed on December 28, 2015 (and was given rabies vaccine) in hopes this will help her find a loving home where she will be given the attention and extra TLC and the freedom to become a playful happy youngster~ Her adoption fee would be just $20 with an approved adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pandora (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
