HISTORY: BABY 4 and her friend SAMEE have lived at Jackalope on Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe their whole lives. The new owners wanted the cats removed and we were asked to take the cats with the promise of a 'generous donation' to help with future vet care. Unfortunately, we never received the donation and are seeking help to cover recent vet bills.

TEMPERAMENT: Both BABY 4 and SAMEE are very sweet, outgoing and sociable, and have quickly adapted to the comfort of warm beds in their foster home. SAMEE is friendly, relaxed and sociable, and likes to play with a short string or toy mouse. He is not bonded to BABY 4, although they do get along well together. SAMEE is a handsome boy with a short coat and orange tabby markings.

* cats are rotated weekly between foster homes and display
* adoption room to visit the cats during regular store hours
* playpens are locked if no volunteer in attendance
* Adoption Advisors available Thursday through Sunday 1pm-4pm or by appointment
