Teddy is growing into a really big yeller feller. He was rescued with two Moms and 5 siblings from a local restaurant where the family had been dumped. Teddy went through a funk when his whole family disappeared leaving him to make new friends in his temporary home. He appeared to fear that he too would disappear, not understanding that his family all had gone to their permanent homes. Teddy is a bright boy however and soon learned to trust again and has become a BFF kitty to his temporary Mom. He is what is called a “sidekick” kitty. Always involved but rarely on a lap. He is interested in everything that goes on in the home, never tries to go outside where he was found, and keeps his purr motor going all the time. He gets on well and plays with the other kittens in the home, chasing up and down the hall ways. He sleeps on the bed with other kitties and humans and loves to get a good patting. His Caregiver calls him Mr. Bony Butt as he has a slim oriental build. He likes to talk and will occasionally give out a scream as if to say, I am here, pay attention to me. Teddy is a fun fellow and is looking for a home where he will be one alone or of few kitties so he gets his share of attention. Since Teddy is sponsored by Partners for Cats, he is free to an approved home. Fill out and application and sent it to partnersforcats@gmail.com and Jean will call you to discuss how best Teddy will fit into your home.

About Partners for Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people who are tired of the statistics where many more cats are killed by our Animal Control entities than are released after TNR or are placed in loving homes. We think that all cats can be saved and have joined to not only save cats but to educate the communities we live in about cats and hopefully generate compassion and love for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are showing cats and kittens at the Tractor Supply in Morganton NC every other Saturday from 10a to 3p.

Our Adoption Process...

Must fill out an adoption application and be interviewed by a representative of Partners for Cats and/or the Caregiver who has physical custody of the cat. Adoption fees usually free but can be charged by the Caregiver. The emphasis is finding good kind people who will love and care for the specific cat. Donations are always appreciated, but an adoption fee not usually required.
