Lala's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lala's Story...
Lala was found at a park across from the county shelter. She had been spotted by a rescue volunteer several times in the exact same spot under a tree next to the road. It is unclear if she had gotten lost or dumped there by her former owners. She would get very excited when a car would park but was very hesitant to approach unknown people. After about 6 weeks, the volunteer was able to convince her to be rescued with a can of Vienna Sausage! Lala is the biggest fan of Vienna Sausage! Lala is quickly learning to trust again....she has beautiful leash manners and is learning her basic commands. Lala has a wonderful temperament: very gentle, affectionate, and calm. She gets along well with other dogs…her foster home has several K9 siblings, with whom she enjoys playing. She would love to go to a home with other K9 friends! Lala is doing great on her house training and is learning very quickly! She is crate trained, FULLY VETTED, and heartworm negative. Lala is about 2-3 years old and 35 pounds.

Lala is currently fostered in Houston and is available for out-of-state adoption. Out of state adoption fee of $500 includes air transport.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lala, a Seattle Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
