This handsome mug is Miguel and in addition to being easy on the eyes, he's pretty great in the personality department too. At right around a year old and 50 lbs, Miguel is immediately social and engaging with everyone he meets. He is a strong hunk of love and, as such, would benefit from some additional basic training just so his zest for life doesn't get in the way of him being a well behaved boy. Thankfully he's also smart as can be and a super fast study--we're all very impressed by all that he has learned since joining the rescue!
Miguel loves playing fetch, romping after squeaky toys, playing with his best dog friend Dexter, and cuddling with/smooching on the volunteers. Though he's a perfect angel in his kennel here (totally crate trained/housebroken) he did display some separation anxiety issues when in a foster home so he'd love to join a home where someone is often home and/or where he can go to daycare during the work day.
In addition to loving people, Miguel is also good with other dogs and can certainly join a forever home with other social dogs so long as they're a good match for his play style. Miguel is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped. One of his biggest fans has sponsored his adoption fee so now you can save that money for toys and treats!
