Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma area.
NAME: Cody
GENDER: Male (Neutered)
AGE: About 4 years
WEIGHT: About 6 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Fine with other small dogs, Unsure on cats
CHILDREN: Interacts well with children
Meet handsome Cody! Not only does he look good but he IS good. This guy has a great personality and is going to make a family very happy and he joins their team!
This little guy was "no longer wanted" by his original family after being found as a stray. After being around Cody, we certainly don't undertand that! But their loss is our gain! Cody is one of the best little guys! Cody LOVES his people and wants to be around them all the time. Cody constantly watches his foster Mom no matter what she's doing. He really wants to please, and be your best friend. And he loves to cuddle with you.
Cody is good with children too. We have seen him interact very well with fairly young kids. He enjoys being picked up and held, and being in your lap. He loves car rides too. He just wants to be your shadow. Such a sweet boy.
He does great with the other foster dogs in his foster home. Sometimes he likes to remind the other dogs that he is a pretty tough little guy and will pick on his foster mates a little. He likes to bump them with his nose and see who reacts to his intimidation! But he is a sweetheart and gets along with each of them.
Cody is a smart guy. He is mostly housebroken and is pretty good about going outside, even when the weather isn't perfect. He is quiet, and does not bark a lot. When he does bark it is kind of a quiet, muffled bark so would be fine in an apartment community. Cody is also leash trained and crate trained.
Cody is approximately 4 yrs old and weighs about 6 pounds, which is a good weight for him. He is going to make a terrific family member. Please help us find a forever home for Cody so he can have his own family to love.
Cody is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
