Lady 2 is a 10 yr old purebred shih tzu. She was surrendered by her family, to a high kill shelter because she is going blind. Lady went straight into a foster home and acted like she had lived there her entire life. Lady is going to be spayed and will be ready to move into her new home. She would love to be in the home of someone who was home the majority of the day, as she follows her humans about their daily routine. Lady 2 is a great car rider as well, in case you are on the go! She is un-phased by cats and gets along well with other dogs. Lady does seem to have difficulty with her toileting habits. She will use pee pads, placed in a tray, or litter box. Lady is current on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on all monthly preventatives. She weighs around 10 lbs. WITH SPEICAL NEEDS DOGS, WE RECOMMEND HOMES WITHOUT YOUNG CHILDREN (under age 9).
APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED. ADOPTION FEE $150
BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED. BEGINNING 2015 ALL ANIMALS ARE MICROCHIPPED AND THE RESCUE PAYS THE REGISTRATION FEE. APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED.
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or long term basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
