My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Margarita we think is a Cockapoo. She was in such bad shape when we rescued her with dermatitis and hardly any coat that we had to wait for her coat to start growing back in before we could see what breed she is. Her coat is very soft and is really coming back well. She is approx 19 months and 15 lbs. She is a really sweet little girl who gets along with the other dogs and cats, loves everyone, is very active and playful and very precocious. She loves to be in the middle of all the action and would do well with someone that can take her on walks or to the dog park to play. She does pretty well on a leash and is nearly house trained. She would not be considered hypoallergenic and a fenced yard would be ideal for her.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
