Meet Alfie and Blackie, a handsome duo who find themselves back at the shelter for a second time. They were originally adopted to a home together, however the adopters turned them back in on 12/29/15 after the landlord threatened to evict them if they didn't get rid of the dogs. He said the dogs would cry when the adopters were not at home because they were lonely. Aflie is about 8 years old and weighs a tiny 11 lbs. The dogs are reported to be HOUSEBROKEN and GOOD WITH KIDS. They are current on their vaccines, neutered and micro chipped. They will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Alfie's ID # is 581330 and can be found along with Blackie in cage # 331 in the puppy/small dog room. The boys would love to be adopted together, however it is not required and they can go to separate homes.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
