MICKY's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

MICKY's Story...
Micky is a 12 year old Pom who was left at a kill shelter by his owner who was moving into an apartment that did not allow dogs. We have taken Micky to an eye specialist who determined that his eyes were healthy and just clouded due to his age. He sees just fine. Micky is deaf however. He has had a complete blood work up and also a dental surgery to remove his very bad teeth. Micky can eat soft food only. He gets along well with all dogs and cats and is a darling little guy. He is somewhat aloof but that makes him a great pet for someone who does not want a dog jumping all over them. He loves being carried, loves walks and car rides and would travel well. Micky is picking up some signs to compensate for his lack of hearing. Micky hates being crated. He is very good at the groomer. He loves to prance like all Poms and is a very tiny little guy who weighs just over 5 pounds.

Micky's adoption fee is $225. If you would like an application contact Dawn at blackdogsrescue@icloud.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MICKY, a Bluemont Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Bluemont, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Bluemont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bluemont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bluemont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bluemont paves the way for another one to be saved.
