This is the face of a dog that has seen the dark side of humanity
We believe she was starved and beaten
She doesn't want to stand up or walk anywhere outside of her kennel, she just wants to curl up on her Kuranda bed surrounded by blankets.
Her eyes are soft but focused, as if she is just watching to see if someone is going to hurt her. We've spent time with her and pet her and promised her she won't be hurt ever again and we're sure as dogs have the amazing ability to do - she will learn to trust and understand that not all people are evil.
ACO Sherry will be spending lots of time with her, she seems to appreciate being wrapped up and held.
This is one very special girl who deserves a very special home. Let's put this first year of her life behind her and show her what her life should be and shower her with the love and care she deserves.
We did introduce her to dogs but she is too scared to react, she just ignores them and continues to shake
