Madison's Story...
Meet Peep! Peep is a precious lil' 6 month old pittie mix who will most likely end up being a medium sized girl. She was found running as a stray with her sister, JellyBean. Peep is timid at first then her playful personality comes out. She is a very handleable girl and will let you hold her. Peep already has polite manners and hardly jumps! She would benefit from her future forever family continuing to teach her proper puppy behavior. Peep doesn't appear to have had much socialization, so a home with a another dog may be good for her to help show her the ropes. Peep may not have had the easiest life growing up so far but she is so excited to find her family to show her the love she deserves. What a cutie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madison, a Michigan City Schnauzer (Standard)/Airedale Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Airedale Terrier for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Airedale Terrier dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Airedale Terrier breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Airedale Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
