Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SMOKEY and BANDIT are a mother/daughter pair. They were picked up in a local parking lot by a fellow who brought them to the shelter. Apparently, somebody must have moved away and left them behind. Smokey is only about a year old, mostly white with black tail and random black patches on her head and back, sort of a cow-kitty pattern. That’s her on the left with the cute little black mustache. Bandit is her daughter, about four months old, a black and white tux. That’s her on the right. Smokey is only 6.2 lb; Bandit is 4.4 lb, and will probably be bigger than her mom soon.
Where they came from, nobody knows. They seem to be healthy and have good appetites. They must have had a home once, since they are adapting fairly quickly to living in the shelter. Both are sweet and friendly, although Bandit is a little more reserved and not quite as trusting.
They are getting more confident now, in their new surroundings, and are coming out to explore. They don’t mind being picked up and cuddled. Bandit is particularly attached to her mom and they would like to stay together. Let’s find these two sweeties a forever home soon. If you would like an adorable pair of little kitties that are already bonded, these might be the ideal cats for you.
