ACE's Story...
Currently located in Newport News, VA

Ace was adopted out of Lincoln Co., NC last week and within 48 hours of getting him home the woman reached out to us saying she cannot keep him because he is not good with her cat. Ace is a beautiful 7 year old purebred German Shepherd that was surrendered with 3 other GSDs. When he came into the shelter he had some skin issues and an ear infection and was sent home on meds. He is fully vetted and is Heartworm negative. Ace is a total sweetheart and is people and dog friendly but probably needs a home without cats. If you are interested in giving our boy a home please fill out an adoption application online at or email us at Adoption fee is $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ACE, a Williamsburg German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
