Rocky's Story...
Rocky: 1 year old male Rottweiler mix

Weight: 65 lbs

Rocky is a 1yr old male Rottweiler mix that weighs 65 lbs. He is pretty good on the leash and has done fine with another dog to play with. I think he would be a good fit for most people who want a well mannered and mellow guy with just enough energy to keep you moving. I think he would wrestle and play with both people or dogs and tug a rope but i see him being a big couch potato. If you have time to sit back and scratch him all day, thats where he will be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Park Rapids Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Park Rapids, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Park Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Park Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Park Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Park Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
