My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Spencer. I’m a 17 week old puppy, and best guessed to be a German Pointer-Lab mix. I kinda look like a Dalmatian too, don’t you think? I’ve got one big eye patch, and lots of little spots poking through my fur, hehe. I’m a smart boy, too! I know “sit, lay down, shake, roll over – & fetch”. I’m also crate trained, and am 90% potty trained (sometimes I get a little excited when new people come over). Young fellas like me do good on a schedule. So, I start my days with breakfast, a potty break – and playing with other dogs. I’m nice to the cat in my foster home, and I do good with other dogs of all sizes – provided that they are ready for my crazy puppy antics! You could say I’d prefer a home with a playmate. I like to run around as FAST as I can in the yard. Sometimes, I run so fast I trip over my own feet. I’ve got the speed part down, but that whole lack of coordination comes with puppyhood. Also, I’m still learning not to chase wheels, like when I see cars or bicycles. I will need a home that is ready for puppy crazy, lots of kisses and random attacks of snuggles!

Do I seem like I might be a good boy for you to adopt? You can fill out an application for me at www.NBSAnimalRescue.com

P.S. My friends at NBS Animal Rescue has special requirements for me.
* A home with a puppy potty plan, I have to be let out every 4-5 hours to potty.
*For puppies like me, under 6 months, children living in the home must be 6yrs+
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

Do you think I might be the perfect addition to your family and want to meet me?? Please:

1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out an online adoption application and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!

2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pets veterinary history.

3.) Call your references and let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number as they will be speaking with a member of our team as a personal references.

Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.

While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
