My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Captain
Sex: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Mix
Age: 2 yrs
Weight: 72lbs
Good with: People and dogs. Not tested with cats.

This handsome boy is named Captain. He is now in foster in the Boston area. Captain is great with other dogs but he has not been tested with cats. Captain came in with a high energy level, but has learned to calm down a bit. He's still in the puppy mode and everything seems to be a new adventure to him so he's quite curious. He hasn't met anything he didn't want to put in his mouth. He can also get a little mouthy when he's overly excited or really wants to play, but he's working on it and making good progress!

Captain loves apples, bananas, peanuts, carrots, peanut butter and just about anything yummy you want to treat him with! He also loves all chew toys, water buffalo horns and chewing balls!

Captain doesn't love his crate. It's a little scary to him and prefers being cuddled up with his humans on beds or couches. He's not too fond of being left alone and cries and barks a little at first, but he settles down quite easily.

We can only adopt in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
