Meet the most beautiful one year old retriever-lab mix Bailey! Bailey was rescued out of a north Georgia shelter as a young pup with three siblings. She was adopted after transporting to the northwest, but is proving to be too energetic and too large for her first family; so they are working with us to find Bailey a better family fit. This amazing 75lb sweetheart is high energy and VERY smart. She would love (and needs!) a family is very active and will get her the exercise and outdoor activity she craves. She is extremely social, great with other dogs and humans and would love another dog in her household. She is exuberant and very playful and knows her basic commands. She has been trained with hand signals and is good on a leash. She knows sit, come, stay and a few others. Bailey is considered a “social butterfly” and loves to go visiting around her neighborhood. She would need you to continue her training as currently she gets pretty excited when she meets new folks! Bailey is so sweet and affectionate and is constantly moving- but will more exercise and your direction she will be an awesome family member. Bailey LOVES everyone she meets and is a real “pleaser”. She is good with the cats in her current home and would be a good candidate for a quality doggie day care too. Bailey’s current mom says she hasn’t a mean bone in her body! She has no aggression towards other dogs, food or toys. She is crate-trained and house-trained. Bailey will make an awesome hiking, running and overall outdoor adventure companion. Agility or doggie sports or games might be fun for her too. Bailey is looking for exercise and consistency and if there were older kids (that she wouldn’t knock over!) that would be a terrific bonus! As you can see from her pics she loves the snow and is happy in all types of weather. She has a gorgeous coat and beautiful, irresistible eyes! She is fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. Bailey will be available to meet this Saturday, Jan. 9th in Snohomish. Her adoption fee is $400.
