My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carrie is a 6 month old Maltese and both of her parents were Maltese. She is the smallest of the girls and currently weighs 6 lbs. She has a lovely soft, white coat of non-shedding hair. Her hair was matted when she arrived so she is sporting a short haircut. She was recently surrendered by a person who had too many dogs and could not care for them. She has not had any socialization, nurturing or training. Carrie tends to be shy and fearful of new experiences. She is showing improvement each day as she now wants to join her sisters when going outside. She has a sweet, mellow personality and is getting more relaxed when held and caressed. All Carrie has known is companionship with her two sisters, but she is young enough to bond and love a new family. With loving, consistent care; Carrie will blossom into a wonderful companion. She does need a family with time and desire to provide her with loving care and training.
