Nascar's Story...
Nascar is a COOL cat, just like his name! He is also very handsome with his beautiful black and white markings. He is a chatty cat and he loves to be around you while you're doing things around the house. He can talk all morning, and his foster mom loves these special "conversations". :) He doesn't have a tail but he still shakes his little nub, and is is the cutest thing! He loves to hang out with his human friends as well as other cats and dogs. He just wants to be a part of the family and we can't wait for him to find his very own family. He is 3 years old and is a perfectly healthy, and happy kitty cat! He is fostered near Huntsville, AL but is available for adoption in your area. You can fill out an application for NASCAR here: http://forrescue.net/cat-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nascar, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
