My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Major is handsome, black and tan, male Shepherd mix. He is approximately five years old and weighs 79 pounds. He is very affectionate and has a low-moderate energy level. He does well with kids, dogs and cats. Major loves to go for walks and car rides. He is crate-trained and is housebroken. MTGSR pulled Major from Nashville Metro Animal Care and Control.
All dogs adopted from Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped and our adoption fee is $250. For more information or to request an adoption application, please email us at adoption.mtgsr@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our philosophy is “Rescue locally, place locally” which means we primarily pull dogs from shelters in the Nashville area AND we prefer to place our dogs in homes within a one-hour drive of Nashville. If you are outside of the Nashville area, please consider adopting a homeless dog in your local community.
